1. 왜 지금, 폴리매스인가?

우리는 더 이상 한 분야의 전문가로만 살아갈 수 없는 시대에 살고 있다.
AI가 스스로 배우고, 실행하고, 판단하는 지금,
경험, 감정, 통찰, 맥락을 연결하는 인간 고유의 능력이 더욱 중요해졌다. 우리는 점점 더 복잡해지는 문제 앞에서
‘하나의 시선’으로는 부족하다는 것을 깨닫고 있다.
지식은 넘치지만, 의미를 연결할 사람은 부족하다.
그래서 우리는 다시 묻는다.
“왜 지금, 폴리매스인가?”
그 답은 간단하다.

“살아남기 위해서가 아니라, 의미 있게 살아가기 위해서.”

2. 네오 폴리매스란 누구인가?

여러 분야를 ‘많이’ 아는 사람이 아니다.

1. Why Polymathy, Why Now?

We no longer live in an age where being an expert in one field is enough. As AI learns, acts, and makes decisions independently, uniquely human abilities—to connect experience, emotion, insight, and context—have become more critical than ever.

We are facing increasingly complex challenges. We realize that a single perspective is no longer sufficient. There is no shortage of knowledge, but there is a shortage of people who can connect the meaning.

So we ask again: “Why polymathy, and why now?” The answer is simple: “Not to survive, but to live with meaning.”

2. Who Is a Neo-Polymath?

• Not someone who knows a lot across many fields.
